Being a part of Jambo Festival by volunteering your time will not only give you the satisfaction of knowing you are making a difference to the lives of children; but you will also have a wonderful time doing it and building up our community.

We are seeking for volunteers  to assist in all aspects of the event including the following areas:

As an event set up volunteer, you will be responsible in assisting in setting up and taking down goal posts, setting up information boots, team check in booth, and other event stations.


You will also be responsible for hanging sponsors’ banners and posting signs around the event venue.

This task requires the delivery and placement of corner flags at the fields, a visual inspection of nets to ensure they are staked and ready for play as well as a check for general field cleanliness at the beginning of the tournament day.


The corner flags will be collected at the end of the tournament.

As a ground keeping volunteer, you will be responsible  for setting up litter disposal receptacles throughout the grounds, replacing full receptacles with clean ones, and ensuring that the grounds are litter free at all times.


You may also be asked to support in other areas.

Having at least three (3) people on site the night before the event provides a sense of security to the area and eliminate the need to pack up the tournament site.


This position requires a flashlight. It is a fun job! The shift start at 8.00PM going through the night.

Under this category, volunteers will be responsible for welcoming tournament participants and event guests, checking in teams at the team check in booth.


This will require checking names of the Jambo pre-authorized list of teams and players


Team check in volunteers will also distribute badges and information pack to team Coaches

Parking lot attendant volunteers will be responsible for the coordination and management of parking areas, and sporting florescent orange vest are some of the benefits enjoyed by parking volunteers. Parking lot attendants at the vendor entrance will be responsible of checking Jambo vendor passes and directing vendors to the appropriate spaces for loading and unloading.


Parking lot attendants will work in liaison with the security personnel.

You will be responsible for helping event staff with the coordination of the Awards ceremony.


You will also be responsible for packing up various equipments, such as chairs, tables, and information materials, carrying and lifting, and taking down all banners and posters around the venue.
